Shipping policy

1. Shipment Processing Time

All orders are processed within [2–3] business days. Orders are not shipped or delivered on weekends or holidays.

If we are experiencing a high volume of orders, shipments may be delayed by a few days. Please allow additional days in transit for delivery. If there will be a significant delay in the shipment of your order, we will contact you via email or telephone.

2. Shipping Rates & Delivery Estimates

Shipping charges for your order will be calculated and displayed at checkout.

  • Standard Shipping: [3–7] business days — Free

  • Delivery delays can occasionally occur due to carrier issues or seasonal volumes.

3. Shipment Confirmation & Order Tracking

You will receive a Shipment Confirmation email once your order has shipped containing your tracking number(s). The tracking number will be active within 24 hours.

4. Customs, Duties, and Taxes

Prices outlined at checkout include applicable provincial taxes. No additional customs or duties will apply for domestic Canadian shipments.

5. Damages

If you receive your order damaged, please contact the shipment carrier to file a claim, or reach out directly to our support team at info@montalpi.ca within 48 hours of delivery.

Please save all packaging materials and damaged goods before filing a claim, and take photos of the damage if possible.

6. Big/Heavy Items: Large items will be delivered via freight curbside delivery. The carrier will call you to schedule a delivery window, and an adult signature is required.

7. Important Freight Delivery Instructions (Damage Policy)

Because our outdoor island grills ship via heavy freight, you must inspect the delivery before signing for it.

  • Check for Damage: Inspect the pallet, strapping, and outer boxes. If you see visible punctures, crushed corners, or severe damage, write "DAMAGED" clearly on the driver's delivery receipt before signing.

  • Severe Damage: If the shipment appears entirely destroyed, refuse the delivery entirely and contact us immediately.

  • Concealed Damage: Unbox and inspect your items immediately. Any damage found after delivery must be reported to info@montalpi.ca with photos within 48 hours.

Please Note: Signing a "clean" delivery receipt without noting damage means you are certifying the shipment arrived in perfect condition. If you sign it clean and report damage later, the carrier will deny the claim, and we may be unable to provide a free replacement or refund.
